Most travel pouches are a bag with a zip. This one is padded through, which is the difference between a power bank arriving fine and arriving dented. It carries the kit that actually needs protecting, not just organising.
We chose it for the outer pocket as much as the padding — somewhere for the passport, ticket or card that needs to be reachable without opening the main compartment at security.
